Proforma question

The IRS just returned my Proforma 1040 I used for the effective tax rate calculation because I didnt sign it. Does this make sense?

Not really, but so what? You know what type of swizzle servants you are dealing with. Sign it and send it back. Technically, the sig on your 1040NR covers everything.

Did you attach an 8833 explaining what was going on?
After 20 years, I am severely cutting back on responses. Do not ask specifically for my help. There are a few others on this board that can answer most questions. All the best
