Reference ID number on 8621, 3520, 3520-a

My wife and I are joint account holders of an RESP for which I will be filing the required US forms.

Reading the instructions for 3520 and 3520-a, I understand that the same Reference ID must be used on both 3520 and 3520-a. Does my wife enter my Reference ID on her 3520/3520-a also?

I created a separate Reference ID for the 8621. Does my wife enter the same on her 8621 also?
