What happens when NR6 Canadian Agent becomes non resident?

Post by NewCanadian »

I am curious to know what actions need to be taken if Canadian agent leaves Canada in the middle of the year when NR6 is approved.

Logically his status will be resident of Canada for CRA till he files return next April informing that he left Canada. My question is whether I need to switch to 25% of gross rent payment as tax right away from next month after agent leaves Canada.

Of couse, next year I will have select another local agent for NR6.
