Overstaying a TD Visa

Post by wildside41 »

My wife and I are both Canadians living in Yuma Arizona for 9 months. She is working under a TN Visa and I stay with her on a TD Visa. My question is after her working stint is over and we head home are we allowed back for a short hoiiday lets say to Vegas for a week of have we used up our aloted time in the States? Thanks for any info.

You will only be allowed back as a tourist if it is clear to the officer that you have moved back to Canada, which means lease, car with Cdn plates, Cdn DL.

Its not a matter of days in US, for which there is no limit. Its whether or not you live in Canada.
After 20 years, I am severely cutting back on responses. Do not ask specifically for my help. There are a few others on this board that can answer most questions. All the best
