tuition credit carry forward for non-residents

Post by mehran »

Hi!
I moved from Quebec to US last year and I am filing a departure return for 2012 in Canada.
I have some unused tuition credits. Will I loose them? or I will be able to use them if I move back to Canada again in couple of years?

Thanks

you can use them later.
After 20 years, I am severely cutting back on responses. Do not ask specifically for my help. There are a few others on this board that can answer most questions. All the best

Similar situation here -

To keep these unused credits for the future (in case I return to Canada), do I need to keep filing Canadian returns and Schedule 11 every year as a non-resident?
