RC268 - Amount of Contributions that Qualify for Tax Relief

Post by ioio »

Hello,

I am a Canadian citizen working in the USA (commuting every day for work). I am trying to determine the "Amount of contributions that would qualify for tax relief in the US" (line 2 in the RC268). Is there a US form that helps to determine this amount?

Thank you in advance for your answer.

ALL of your 401(K) contributions wiill qualify for US tax relief.

So, your pay stub tells you how much you have contributed so far this year to your 401(k), and your W-2 will give you the year-end total that you use on line 2 of the RC 268 form.
After 20 years, I am severely cutting back on responses. Do not ask specifically for my help. There are a few others on this board that can answer most questions. All the best
