appreciate briefly info on usc living in canada. how will the following be taxed :

us source rental + dividend income ?

canada source rental income ?

which form needs be filed first us or can

since you said "briefly"

They are all reported on your 1040 for IRS and your T1 for canada.
After 20 years, I am severely cutting back on responses. Do not ask specifically for my help. There are a few others on this board that can answer most questions. All the best

File T1 reporting US & Canada rental & US dividend incomes.

File 1040 reporting all three of them as well. Use form 1116 to get credit on taxes paid for Canada sourced income.

i thought order of filing matters because you have to claim tax credit !
