FBAR amendments

Has anyone had experience with amending an FBAR?

I have decided to re-due mine and include the ESOP i forgot to tabulate.

I called the IRS today and they seemed more concerned that I did not save the data and would have to type it all over again. Also informed me that I had to wait 120 days before re-submission.

I know they are probably not to happy when the have to amend something...but do they penalize you for this?

Is there a downside to coming clean with new information?

Also...I have a Paypal acocunt...not sure if you include that or not.

I would file the Amended form as soon as you can , the paypal account is reportable if it is outside of the US its like any bank account.
