Post by jgoveas »

Sorry guys, this question will get me banned from nelsona I know, but I can't for the life of me remember if last year I submitted my T3/T5 Canadian slips to the IRS. I'm guessing we don't but could someone confirm? Thank you!

You don't attach T3/T5. Look on the first page of the form 1040:
"Attach forms W-2, 1042-S, SSA-1042S, RRB-1042S and 8288-A here. Also attach form(s) 1099-R if tax was withheld"

Thanks! I did see that but wasn't sure if they'd specifically mention not mailing in foreign slips.
