Mileage food and hotel expenses for work travel to Canada

I am a US citizen. I did some consulting work as an independent contractor in Canada and travelled to Toronto several times a year in my own car. The trips were completely work related.

Can I claim the entire mileage from my home to Toronto and back?

I plan to use the Federal per diem allowance for food, etc. Do I claim 50% of the allowed per diem rate or all of it?

What about hotel expenses?
