$0.00 dollar taxes owing on T1 (scam) help!

Post by friendofafriend »

Hi folks, I don't know what to do. I have some friends who found this guy that fills in their CRA T1 forms with a 0$ owing return. I don't know what loophole he thinks he found. The only info I can find in this Eldon G Warman fellow with a detaxcanada website.

Anyhow, this is getting out of control. I have 5 friends (all over 25 making 50000+) who have been duped into doing it. The guy doesn't sign anything. For some reason he is also backfilling for previous years, all 0 owing, and they're receiving huge cheques. He gets 40% cut on all cheques, via money order, to a company called Financial Solutions Inc. (I looked them up couldn't find anything). Located in Oshawa ON.

I want to know what will happen to my friends. I want to meet this guy to get his full name so that at least I can try to guide my friends in the right direction when the government takes their homes and cars away. At least I will have his name.

Any thoughts?

They've been rooked.

Stay away. Why would you even want to meet this jerk?

Any scheme which purports to allow you to entirely opt out of taxation in Canada or the U.S. is a scam, and is totally illegal.

Do not follow the advice given by these crooks, or you will likely end up with huge fines, in jail, or both.
