Rental home insurance so hard to get

I didnot imagine that rental home insurance is so hard to get in Canada. Most home insurance companies in Canada would insure rental home only if your principal home is also insured with them. If you move to US, you have no principal home left in Canada.


Has anybody faced or overcome such issues especially when you are renting home in US till good credit history is built up in current economic situation?
