Death Tax under the Obama Administration

Post by talbert »

I want to know what the Obama Administration has said about the death tax. What’s its status? I haven’t really heard much, but it is something that I think is important. I hear stuff from different local San Diego attorneys on the radio, but I’m not sure what to believe.

Are they right, that by living in California, and by having the proper documents, I might be able to cut down on taxes my family will pay after my death? I went to a free consultation at this estate planning law firm in my neighborhood, and they said there were options available to me. I want to know what people have done? Is there anything that can really be done? I’d love to hear any experience you might have with death taxes and any other death related taxes that are in place today.
