Tax deduction.

Post by Bonj »

Hi Nelsona,
I’ve entered Canada as a landed immigrant on March 24, 2008. On March 1, 2008 I have shipped to my self personal belongings in a container, for which I’ve paid $4500 on the day of shipment.
When next year I do my Canadian taxes for 2008, can I deduct the $4500 as personal expenses?
Thank you very much!
