Spousal Information - How to file taxes?

Hello,

I am very confused about this and would really appreciate some clarification on it.

I am a Canadian citizen, had an income for 3 mths in Canada for 2007. I got married in July and joined him in Aug on H4 visa. My husband is working in the US on H1B and he has no resident ties with Canada. Now, if I declare my status as being married on my Canadian tax return, it asks me info for him?? What should I be doing here??
Also should we do a joint file return US when my husband files his taxes??
