Different types of Visas

This is a great forum with lots of good information. However, both here and online I seem to be having some difficulty getting some information about different types of work visas for Canadians working in the USA.

For example, while I can find lots and lots of information on how to get TN status I am having difficulty finding information on what TN status does for the individual, and what the difference is between it and other options.


Can someone please provide some information or perhaps point me towards some good sources.

This is a TAX site. There are dozens of immig sites, there is even one on this board.
