Filing non-residency

Post by josh2005 »

What's the process for filing NR.

- Notify banks for NR status
- File NR return [along with NR73]

Questions:

- I have joint a/c with my parents [who will be staying in Canada]? Do I need to notify bank about my new address in this situation?

- I opened my invest+RRSP account with TD - based on tips on forums : Thanks -- While opening, I made mistake of not to notify them that I am in UK. I also transferred some RRSP from other a/c to TD Registered accounts during this time. Do I have to file anything with CRA?

Thanks,
Josh

Don't submit NR73. Use it as a guide for what you should be getting rid of.

Talk to TDW about your UK residency.
