Form 8938 and FBAR Requirements

Hi,

I am new to this forum and a friend recommended me to joint this as a good resource for US/Canadian tax queries. My immediate query is regarding the Form 8938 and FBAR requirements and due dates. It seems that FBAR has an auto extension until Oct 15, 2019 for FY2018 returns. Does that same extension apply to Form 8938 as well?

My wife filed her US taxes for FY2018 and sought extension due to the complicated return. Can some one advise what is the deadline to file these 2 forms? Also what back up is required as part of filing.
