Reporting Canadian dividends on US returns

Post by ususer »

Canadian corporation paid me part of the amount in the form of Dividends.
I have not found any specific place on the US return for this.
Form 1116 itemizes such income for tax credit. But I don't see any place where to report this type of income on 1044 as a foreign. Where do we need to enter foreign dividends?

Divends are reprted on line 9. This should be pretty obvious.

You are teh one that mankes the distinction that they are foreign, on 111, nowhere else.
After 20 years, I am severely cutting back on responses. Do not ask specifically for my help. There are a few others on this board that can answer most questions. All the best
