RRSP account

Form 8891 must be submitted to IRS for every RRSP account you held during the year, but what means an RRSP account? if I have 2 RRSP GICs at the same bank, this means 2 accounts or one?

You tell us. Do you have two account numbers, or just one? Don't confuse GIC invetsment # with an account #. Usually, they would be two investments in one account. Your statements will tell you.
