When I do 1040NR using taxact.com, I chose no dependents as two kids do not live with me since Feb. 2018. After printing, it comes out as
1040NR-EZ instead of 1040NR. I assume it should be OK to use 1040NR-EZ for my case.
Another question is. I think I need use form 8833 to explain to IRS why I file pro forma 1040 and 1040NR, instead of standard 1040.
Appreciate any comment. Thanks

Your 1040NR has sufficient space to determine that you are non-resident. the inclusion of the pro forma (writing treaty article across the top should suffice to let them know you are using the treaty.

I stayed in Ontario, Canada in first 40 days of 2018, moved to FL US to work full time in Feb. 2018. stayed most time in FL US in 2018, still living and working in FL now. My wife and kids stayed in Ontario, Canada. I went back my Ontario Canada home on Dec. 22, 2018 to visit my family there and came back FL on Jan. 3rd, 2019.
My question is in my 1040NR and Pro Forma 1040 for Article XXV(3) tax, which home address should I input? my current US rental home address in FL or my family home address in Ontario, Canada? For Canada tax, I think I should use my family address in Ontario. Please advise your comment. Thanks
