Help Navigating the Setup of a US "Inherited IRA"

Post by Dsquared »

Hello there:

I am looking for somebody to help me setup an "Inherited IRA" in the states. I am a resident of SK, so I am looking for someone licensed in this province. I am a 1/3 beneficiary of my father's traditional IRA and do not want to pay tax on it all in 2020. I normally invest with TD in Canada and have tried them with absolutely no success both the Waterhouse, estate planning division in Canada and the Ameitrade in the US have told me they can't do it.

If you have any experience or know of somebody - I would appreciate you referring to them to me and a bit of a description of your experience. I have found https://cardinalpointwealth.com/ through an internet search - but am reluctant to base my decision on solely on that basis.

Thank you in advance for any help.
