eFile 1040 NR - electronic filing

Good news, IRS now accepts electronic filing of 1040NR. I just filed mine on TaxAct for $12. May be if you search around, you may find cheaper software. I just went with this website as I have used it back when I was a resident in the US.

That is good. More s/w packages are now including 1040NR as a basic, so that no doubt helped getting 1040NR e-file eligible.
After 20 years, I am severely cutting back on responses. Do not ask specifically for my help. There are a few others on this board that can answer most questions. All the best
