Declarative Tax Return?

Post by duberville »

I am a Canadian citizen. I have no status in the USA. I have an ITIN. I have about 2K of online consulting income from the USA.

I want to file US taxes as a declarative return. I understand I don't have a requirement. In that declarative return, I want my global income to appear on it, so when a 4506T form brings up my transcript, the reader will see that global income value. If possible, I would like to merge this filing with my spouse (who also has an ITIN but no US-source income). I do not want my Canadian income to be taxed in the US, as I'm already paying taxes in Canada.

The reason I want this is because I am applying for US credit cards, and some want proof of income by using a 4506T form. Thanks!
