I am a US citizen/resident employed by a Canadian Airline. Over the past few years most of my Canadian income was exempt from Cdn taxes as I was flying internationally (ie not working in Canada).
For six months this year I received wage loss replacement from an insurance company as I was off on disability. The ins. company withheld an even 15% withholding taxes.
My question is, is this WL replacement subject to any Cdn taxes other than the 15% withholding taxes?

No. That should be it. You don't even have to include it on a Cdn tax return.
Remember to include this on your US income tax return, and use the 15% as a foreign tax credit.

After 20 years, I am severely cutting back on responses. Do not ask specifically for my help. There are a few others on this board that can answer most questions. All the best
