US stock options

I’m a Canadian living in Canada working for a US company. I get US stock options. They haven’t been putting them on my T4 the last few years when I’ve exercised them. I have declared the 1042 I received for the stock purchase program, but not options. What is the likelihood of discovery? Anything I can do to minimize risk? The amounts are significant.

They need to be reported. Period.
After 20 years, I am severely cutting back on responses. Do not ask specifically for my help. There are a few others on this board that can answer most questions. All the best
