Obtaining US citizenship before moving back to Canada?

It has become really painful to relinquish your US citizenship, so before you decide to do that, really think down the line if you want to go that route. I know one person with some assets that gave up on relinquishing it and decided to try and live in US and another one that is now finally in the end game of giving it up. IRS will comb through all of your belongings before they let go of your citizenship... Think wisely.

Thanks for that input gordito, I feel most make light of the ease of giving up citizenship. It isn't always as easy as people here on on Isaac Brock make it out to be,
