TN Status: estimated costs for services

Hi all,

First off let me thank everyone for the insight on this forum. It has become an incredibly valuable resource for me.

I am moving with my wife to seattle in a couple months and attempting to create a budget. The tax implications / social security / deductions, etc. are making it a bit hard to estimate what I can afford. Since Washington has no state income tax it is incredibly important I am on top of things to avoid a huge tax bill at the end of the year.

Does anyone have an estimate of the fees of managing this for me?(returns and planning) I know Serbinski has an initial consult fee but I am not sure what it will cost after that. To be honest I am not entirely sure how com

From different consultants in cross border taxes I've talked to the ranges
I was quoted are below.

Tax return: $900 & up depending on complexity (capital gains, rental, etc)
- Usually $200-$400 more for each RRSP or TFSA account

Consultation: $250 - $400 /hr
- Often involves an initial deposit
