Dividends between canadian companies .... How do I show them

Post by Panda123 »

I have two companies which my canadain accountnat set up for me. For simplicity company A is my consulting company and company B is the parent company. I am doing my corp tax returns by computer and I have figured out how to enter all items except for the dividends I have paid from my operating company A to my holding company B.

I have been told that these dividends are not taxable and when I look on schedule 3 in corp tax program I can`t for life of me figure out where to enter them either on company a or b????

can anyone help ..... all income in company is active income from my consulting work.

This is a very simple precedure that does not invo;ve any cross border tax issues, have the accountant complete the Sch 3 on teh T2 of both companies it has to take his 10 minutes max to do it.
