filing taxes in US for the first time

I am on US Visa and i will file taxes here for the first time

Besides filing a 1040ez is their something else iam suppose to do

I have a active bank account in canada and also rrsp under 4k

Please read posts about form 8891.

If this is your first year in US, you cannoy sim[ply file a normal return, unless you also report any income you made before coming to US.

You also have a deaprture return to file in canada.
After 20 years, I am severely cutting back on responses. Do not ask specifically for my help. There are a few others on this board that can answer most questions. All the best
