Canadian citizen, living in canada (potentially) working USA

Post by Ira »

Question: I am a canadian citizen, living in Canada, under offer from USA company to work from home, traveling 25% of time - potentially in Canada, USA and row. Contract is for that of an employee, work I would undertake is project based consulting services to 3rd parties. Can you please advise any employment/tax issues there may be due to this arrangement?

You would need to ba a CDn employee.
After 20 years, I am severely cutting back on responses. Do not ask specifically for my help. There are a few others on this board that can answer most questions. All the best
