I got married and included my wife's name as the beneficiary on my Royal bank RRSP. I don't really understand the definition of beneficiary/ annuitant in 8891 form!!
Should I have to go back and amend to add my wife's name there since I have listed her name on my RRSP as beneficiary?
Should I file 8891 for my US born wife?

AS I explained on the thread on 8891 (this belongs there), the IRS definitions of beneficiary and annuitant are not the same as in canada, and do not make sense in the context of RRSP.
So long as your US born wife doesn't have her own RRSP, nor a spousal RRSP (that you fund in her name), she has nothing to report on her US tax return.
When you die [xx(] this will be another story.
