I just found this forum and am a new user. I've been living in the US since 1999. From 1999-2003, I studied and finished my degree. During this time I worked several internships and co-ops and always filed a 1040EZ. I never filed a 1040NR. Since 2004, I have been working on a TN visa and have been filing a 1040 every year. My question is whether I need to file Canadian taxes. I do not owe any property, land, etc in Canada and do not have any RRSPs, etc. I just assumed to pay US taxes since I've been here full-time. Is the a correct and safe assumption?
Thanks,
Joel

From 1999 to 2003 you should have reported in canada, with 2003 being a departure year. Since then, nothing need be reported to CRA.
Too late to worry about this, so don't.

After 20 years, I am severely cutting back on responses. Do not ask specifically for my help. There are a few others on this board that can answer most questions. All the best
