Non-resident first year TN

Post by sl269 »

I am filing US tax return as non-resident (income is from US company). Is there any deduction benefit I can get from Canada-US tax treaty? (and file form 8833) Thanks

No, because you live in US and are not reporting this income in Canada. And you would need to only earn less than 10K.
After 20 years, I am severely cutting back on responses. Do not ask specifically for my help. There are a few others on this board that can answer most questions. All the best
