This is merely an internal information the RBC USS division is requesting from current account holders in order to update the address on file information. RBC US has been sold to PNC bank and teh transition will commence some time in Spring 2012 when all accounts will be transfered over to PNC but you will still be able to access the account online through RBC Canada.

Its too bad that they decided to sell off the US side but from what I was told by an account manager in the US they were not able to penetrate teh market even after 10 yrs at it. TD has had a better run they still intend to hold onto their US retail bank operations.
