TN status Canadian reports small amount of Canadian income

Post by fordtaurus »

I've asked this question before but forgot to ask where should I report.

Basically it's a two days trip back to Canada, helped a company on a small project and got paid less than $2000.

Should I report this
* on Schedule C as self-employed
* or Line 21 on 1040?

If I use Schedule C to report, then my "business" has a US address, would it be problem since I'm only allowed to work in US for my current TN sponsor. Or it's not an issue since the job is done in Canada?

Thanks a lot
