2011 NR6 processing time

I had submitted NR6 for 2011 in Sept 2010 and am still awaiting communication from CRA. Phone calls could not give me status and mail requests are also awaiting response.

With Feb 15 approaching for Jan rent XIII tax and canadian dollar stronger, it is becoming more important. please share your experience on NR6 for current or previous years.

With this experience, I plan to submit 2012 NR6 even earlier.

Last I heard they were taking 10-11 months. Think of it, you are asking permission to send them less money. Why would they hurry?
After 20 years, I am severely cutting back on responses. Do not ask specifically for my help. There are a few others on this board that can answer most questions. All the best

That is interesting. 11 months lead time for NR6 approval which is valid only for that year.

I am thinking of sending NR6 and 2012 now and 2013 in few months. I hope they accept this early.
