PPIP - PQIP confusion

Post by JFrost »

I just filled out my taxes for federal and province (Quebec).

On both forms, it says I owe $19.42 to PPIP/PQIP... Total of $38.84. Same number... I have to pay to either one or none of them.

I filled out Schelude 10 on federal form and Schelude R on Quebec form. Not even sure if I have to.

These are the most confusing parts of the taxes and I cannot get the gist of this in French or even in English.

It told me to also put my income made in the USA alongside with my Canadian one completely earned in Quebec only.

I'm a US student studying in Montreal with study and work permits. I lived in Quebec 8 out of 12 months this year with a summer job in the USA. I'm not sure if this a mistake or not.

Never mind.

It turns out to be a mistake with the calucation. I owe nothing it turns out.

This is what happens when you spend hours on the forms lasting until 1:30am.

Silly me.

Thanks nevertheless!
