TDF90-22.1 question

Post by mshav1 »

I have a couple of questions on the TDF90-22.1:

• My wife and I have joint savings accounts, do we report the value of the accounts individually? Or do we report it jointly and list both our names on box 6?
• Is it also correct to assume the values of any RRSPs are also reported on this form eventhough it was already reported on the 8891?

I would appreciate any feedback.
Thanks

yes and yes. Reporting on TD form has nothing to do with reporting on 8891 and vice versa.
After 20 years, I am severely cutting back on responses. Do not ask specifically for my help. There are a few others on this board that can answer most questions. All the best

sorry. for td form, one of you reports the joint account and lists the other as a second holder.
