stimulus rebate

Post by expat1000 »

I have searched the forum for any information relating to the stimulus rebate, I haven't been able to find anything.
AS a US citizen living in Canada, am I eligible to receive the stimulus rebate? Do I also have to have earned income?
Thanks

Why don'y you just go to IRS.gov
After 20 years, I am severely cutting back on responses. Do not ask specifically for my help. There are a few others on this board that can answer most questions. All the best

I checked there before I posted here, I could not find any information related to my situation. Calling the IRS, is not a good idea, as pointed out many times in this forum.

I guess you read the eligibility requirements? You meet all of them?

Then you will get the check.

If not, you will get the credit on you 2008 return.
