EI Benefits in canada

Post by bhand11683 »

I have been commuting to work in WA state from BC for last 3 years. Now my H-b visa is expiring and I will no longer be able to work in US anymore for a year. Can I get EI benefits for this income earned in US in canada.

Yes you will get EI (or WA UI) based on your WA work.

You will contact HRDC in Canada and they will direct you exactly how you will proceed.
