Hi,
Last year, I lived and worked in Canada. But from my accounts in US, I got some income in US which is less than the minimum taxable amount.
Do I have to file US taxes as a NonResident?
Thanks.

Hi,
1. I am not US citizen. I am a Canadian PR.
2. The stocks got dissolved and also some interest from savings account as I was working in US before.
1.Do I have to file NonResident taxes in US as the income is around $4000 that is below the minimum taxable amount?
2 Do I have to show that income in Canadian taxes?
Thanks.

Capital gains are not taxable to non-residents. I doubt you have enough interest to be taxable, so you do not have to file a 1040NR.
All your income is taxable in canada. The cost basis of your stocks is based on the day you moved to canada.
