Canadian citizen working in US tax question

Post by yoyoyaya »

I am a canadian citizen, i work for a US company under a H1-B visa. I spend about 250 days per year in the US. I have a house in Canada (my common law spouse lives in it) and i also have 3 other buildings that i rent. I have a mortgage in Canada and a bank account. Is there any way i can avoid Can taxation? What options do i have? Thanks!

Since you maintain a home in Canada where dependents reside, you will be considered a resident of Canada while living and working in the U.S.
