GC abandonment is a very complex subject; there is no simple answer to your question. I will offer that you are on thin ice right now, especially if you have been out of the USA for more than 6 months. I hope you obtained a re-entry permit before leaving. If you don't have one, and have been out sev...

Mr musician? It's difficult to help you when you aren't making any sense. First you mentioned a TN, now you claim to have "a work permit to work in the USA in general whenever required". That is not what a TN is. Then you ask about a green card, but don't want to be a permanent resident. H...

If you take this assignment, I recommend that you keep accurate records of all your border crossings. If you pursue U.S. citizenship at some point, you will have to provide details of all your travels outside the USA while you are a permanent resident. At least, for the five years prior to your citi...

I will say with certainty that Step 1 for you is to get in touch with an immigration lawyer for a consultation. I have a feeling that Step 2 will be that you go back to your H1 job and forget about this scheme. I'm not a lawyer, though, so my certainty is less than 100%. I highly doubt that you will...

Estate planning is complex, and highly dependent upon individual circumstances. I wouldn't be relying on message boards or web sites for that kind of information, as a mistake or poor choice could have costly consequences. Your best bet is to see a lawyer in your state who specializes in estate plan...

Canadians don't get H1 or TN visas. You get H1 or TN status. USCIS will only allow you to have one status at a time. You could have a TN for two different companies, for example, but you can't have H1 for one and TN for the other.

Just wanted to add that there are a LOT of Canadian expats living in GC. It's possible the OP could get some guidance and advice from them as well. And if he can afford to live in GC, he could spring for some professional advice too. If there are cross-border financial experts to be found anywhere, ...

Your question has been answered already. To repeat, no, of course you don't need a visa to work in Canada if you are Canadian.

No, of course you don't need a visa to work in Canada if you are a Canadian citizen. What gave you the idea that you might?
