Sorry not sure how that glitched like that...
What are you amending - which form? My understanding is you can amend for the last 3 years which would include 2010, 2011 & 2012. How far back do you need to file and have you computed each year to see if anything is owning on a per year basis?

OK, Is a PFIC filing required for this "CASH" RESP? I have to admit that I do not understand this market to market QIF stuff. I think I would also like to remain ignorant of the term Annuitant.... I found a few weeks ago that that because of a RESP that my wife and I own jointly (We SHOULD...

Re: No W2 or Taxes withheld.
Not sure this answers your question but employers in Canada to not issue W2's they issue something similar called T4's. [quote="FX004"]I work for a Canadian employer, but spent 221 days working in Michigan last year. My corporation did not withhold any taxes, or subsequently supply me with...

US citizen status
Can someone direct me to a reference that explains when a person is subject to being a US citizen? One scenario is Canadian father and US mother have child while living in US and then move to Canada prior to 18th birthday. Is the child always considered a US citizen? Another scenario is Canadian fat...
