i am Canadian who 100% remotely work for US company as contractor. do i need to apply tn visa?

US Company ask me to apply tn visa. i think it is not necessary.

2a: i will stay in US less than half year. as a Canadian resident, how to avoid double pay tax in US and Canada since i fill tax return only to Canada.
