I ticked Box G and the operator was saying if you tick box A or G then they need the visa of the spouse....

I am holding the USA visa and my spouse does not have a visa and resides in Canada.

Is this correct or wrong?

And i found this excerpt from http://www.irs.gov/instructions/iw7/ch01.html#d0e226

"Proving your "foreign status" or “identity.â€￾ If you submit an original valid passport (or a certified copy from the issuing agency), you do not need to submit any other documents to prove your “foreign statusâ€￾ or “identity.â€￾"

I did submit the certified copy from the issuing agency.
Anyone else in the same boat as me????

Ah, Yes. I am employed by a US firm.

Another question regarding NETFILE with CRA. Since I have to submit my 1040NR and W2, I can only send the returns by mail?

Or should I do a NETFILE and wait for them to contact me?

Hello all,

I am getting paid in US and residing in Canada.

Do I add (Federal income tax withheld + Social Security Tax + Medicare Tax withheld) in the W2 form and put on Line 431 on Form T2209?

Thanks!
