Not sure if this thread has expired.

The Canadian university stated that they are registered with the US Treasurey and have a Tax ID. Given that I am a domestic student in Canada, can I apply this tutition to my us income tax for this coming tax season?

I spoke with the university and they said that the school is registered with US Treasury Service, and has a University Tax ID. That is all the information they had about when asked if they were registered with the IRS and FAFSA. Would this mean the tuition is eligible? Also, I am enrolled as a domes...
