The Canadian university stated that they are registered with the US Treasurey and have a Tax ID. Given that I am a domestic student in Canada, can I apply this tutition to my us income tax for this coming tax season?

I spoke with the university and they said that the school is registered with US Treasury Service, and has a University Tax ID.
