Documentation back for legalilty of TN status

My understanding is that it is completely legitimate for a US company to sponsor me as a TN (comp sys analyst) then pay me via a corp to corp contract between them and my Canadian corporation. Is this true? and if so is there any official documentation that I can point the US company to as they are ...

Canadian corportation contracting to US corp

I've set up a Canadian corporation, this is in process of signing a contract with a US company (contracting firm) for me to do contract work in the US. They will be sponsoring me for a TN visa. I'll end up having to spend more than 183 days a year in the US for this. I can't set up simple US residen...

I don't have any US status at the moment. They are ok with doing a TN for me which shouldn't be an issue.

I agree, the best situation and what I would prefer is to be hired as a Canadian employee but if they don't have a Canadian company to hire me under I'm not sure how I can make that happen.

Cdn Citizen from US to Canada and now back to US?

Ok, I'm really really confused. I have been living and working in the US for the last 12 years, got laid off back in July and returned to Canada (still have a house in the US that I've yet to sell). Planned to find a job in Canada or start my own consulting company and consult to the US. So neither ...

If you spend 183 days in any 365 day period, the 1099 income becomes taxable in US as well, so you could carefull count ypur days at all times and avoid this.)
So a follow up question to this. I'm sure I'm boned on this for 2012 since I w...
If you keep a Cdn residence, you will always be a Cdn tax resident, unless you have overwhelming ties in US. You don;t seem to want to give up that, so you will pay Can/BC tax. If you spend 183 days in any 365 day period, the 1099 income becomes taxable in US as well, so y...

Moving back to Canada , looking to do 1099 for US company

Hello, I've been in the US since 2000, on TNs and H1Bs. Through a couple of legal screw ups my GC never completed so when I got unexpectantly laid off in July I've had to return to Canada. (My house I own in the US is still yet to sell but that is a whole different discussion). I've gotten a hit fro...
