Mortgage interest and property tax deductions

I am a US/Canadian citizen and have lived and worked in Canada for 3 years. I purchased a home in Canada last year. Can I deduct the mortgage interest and property tax of this house on form 1040 schedule A?

Thank you for your answer. My another question is, since my daughter and I lived in Canada in 2011 the whole year, can my husband still claim both spouse and dependent exemptions on married-filling jointly return?
